The Media Center at An-Najah Successfully Concludes a Training Course on Broadcasting Skills in Societal Radio
The Media Center at An-Najah University successfully concluded a training course on broadcasting skills in societal radio which lasted for ten days and was administered by Abla Rwais, Training Supervisor at the Media Center. Mr. Darwish Abu Basha supervised the technical side of the training.
The course targeted media students at An-Najah and aimed to introduce them to the skills of broadcasting in societal and local radio. The training consisted of a series of theoretical and practical lectures that were held in special rooms at the Center, while practical training took place at Voice of An-Najah studios.
The trainees were taught on several topics including the radio programs preparation skills, news broadcasting in societal radio, as well as advanced radio presentation skills. On its practical side, the training aimed to familiarize the students with the principles of radio engineering, use of equipment, audio recording, and montage of recorded radio programs.
At the end of the course Mr. Ayman Al-Nimer, Director of the Media Center, and Abla Rwais presented the certificates to the participating students.
The course came as part of a series of courses that the Media Center is going to organize over the coming year to develop the students’ skills in various fields of media.
