Under the auspices of President Rami Hamdallah a launch event of "the Arab Conscience" Operetta was held at HRH Prince Turki Bin Abdel Aziz Theatre yesterday.   A number of leading Arab music stars perform in the musical Operetta inspired by the contemporary Arab history in the Middle East.

Speaking to the audience from Cairo, Mr. Ahmad Aryan, the producer of Operetta, said that the Operetta conveys a message and vision of hope for Arab generations seeking freedom and peace." "The objective of the Operetta is to awake the Arab conscience in the face of the numerous challenges and troubles facing the Arab world today," Aryan said.

"It is a great honor for us to introduce the Operetta for the first time at An-Najah," Aryan added.
The Operetta includes performances performed by about 100 Arab singers and celebrities.  Leading Arab singers participating in the Operetta include Wadie Safie (Lebanon), Hani Shakir (Egypt), and Amar Hassan (Palestine). 
The launch of the Operetta was organized by An-Najah National University and the National Center of Music in Nablus.
