The Korean Palestinian IT Institute of Excellence (KPITIE) Graduates a Course on Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

The Korean Palestinian IT Institute of Excellence at An Najah National University organized a course on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) which included the following topics:
1- Introduction to Spacial / Geographic Information
2- Introduction to GIS.
3- Introduction to:
a. Photogrammetry.
b. Remote Sensing.
c. Cartography.
d. Google Earth.
e. GPS.
4- Building, Editing and Reviewing the GIS data.
5- Integration between GIS and AutoCAD.
6- Introduction to GIS Data Model.
Dr. Khalid Barham, Director of the Korean Palestinian IT Institute of Excellence, said that a number of Engineering students at An Najah National University have participated in this course, as well as several engineers from the private sector. The course was held to meet the needs of university graduates and professional engineers and to train them on how to apply the GIS program in actual life.
