The University President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, met with the German Representative to the Palestinian Authority Mr. Jörg Ranau, accompanied by Dr. Helga Baumgarten, DAAD`s Representative in Jerusalem, and Dr. Anna Wagner, the Protocol Officer in the German Representative Office.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Hamdallah welcomed the delegation and gave a brief presentation about the University and the academic programs it offers. Cooperation between the University and the German Representative Office was the main focus of the meeting. Mr. Ranau expressed the German Government's support for the Palestinian people and the peace process in the Middle East. Also, he emphasized their interest in achieving cooperation with the university in higher education.

After the meeting, the German delegation visited the new campus and the Korean Palestinian IT Institute of Excellence, accompanied by Dr. Nabil Alawi, the Director of the Public Relations Department.
