The French General Consul in Jerusalem Visits the University
The French General Consul in Jerusalem, Alain Remy, visited the university accompanied by a delegation that included Mr. Sebastian Fargart, Attaché of Administrative Cooperation at the Consulate, and Mr. Jean Paul Ghoneim, the Attaché of Educational Cooperation at the Consulate, as well as other members of the consulate staff.
The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the University President, and Dr. Nabil Alawi, Director of the Public Relations Department.
Prof. Hamdallah welcomed the Delegation and thanked the French Consul for visiting the university and the city of Nablus. They talked about the prospects for future cooperation between the university and the consulate, including continuing the teaching of the French language at the university. Cooperation will also include joint scientific research and sending students from the university to continue their studies in France.
Prof. Hamdallah gifted the university plaque to his guest and spoke about the university's development, its future plans, and the scientific prizes that the university has received. He also praised the distinguished relationship between the university and the French Consulate.
At the end of the meeting the French Consul thanked the university administration for the warm reception. He expressed his admiration for the university's scientific research and level of academics and also wished upon them further development and prosperity.
