Mr. Alain Remy, the Consul General of the Republic of France in Jerusalem, visited the University today to discuss cooperation issues and developments with Prof. Rami Hamallah, the University's president, and the University's senior officials.  In the meeting Prof. Hamdallah gave an overview of the different faculties and scientific centers of An-Najah.  Prof. Hamdallah expressed to the French diplomat the interest of the University to strengthen the existing relations of academic cooperation with the French Consulate and French universities, and in having more academic exchanges and scholarships, taking into account the international prestige of the French education system.  Mr. Remy highlighted the long history of friendship and cooperation that has existed between the University and the French Consulate and the many ways in which An-Najah and several French universities continue to collaborate.
