On Tuesday, March 2^nd 2010, the Faculty of Fine Arts inaugurated an exhibition for the Palestinian artist, Munther Jawabreh. The exhibition, which will continue until Sunday, March 7^th 2010, comes within the Faculty's aspirations to serve the local community and Palestinian artists.

 

Dr. Hasan N'erat, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, said that the Faculty follows up with its graduates through organizing exhibitions and workshops that contain their art work such as this one. Dr. Ahmed Al-Hajj Hamad, an instructor at the Faculty of Fine Arts said that the Faculty works on promoting art through holding different exhibitions that demonstrate the talents of the students. Such events encourage Palestinian artists to seek the highest levels in their field. He also said that there are many artists like Jawabreh whom the Faculty has supported both academically and after graduation. Jawabreh has previously worked as an instructor of Fine Arts and held a number of art exhibitions in the United Kingdom, Syria and Lebanon.
