The Faculty of Fine Arts at An-Najah Wins First Place in a Poster Design Competition for Richard II Play by William Shakespeare
The students of Fine Arts at An-Najah University participated in a poster design competition for Richard II Play by William Shakespeare as part of Ashtar Theater event which was performed at Hisham Palace in Jericho and discusses policy, authority and deception.
Ahmed Mustafa Saleh won the first place in the competition for the best poster and was rewarded 150 USD dollars and had his name printed on both the poster and the brochure.
The competition aimed to reinforce the Palestinian presence and participation internationally and link culture with tourism in Palestine. This poster will also represent Palestine along 36 other countries in Shakespeare Festival which will take place at the Globe Theater as part of London’s Cultural Olympiad in May 2012.
