The Faculty of Educational Sciences Opens the Fourth Educational Methods Exhibition
On April 26th, the Faculty of Educational Sciences at An-Najah inaugurated the fourth educational methods exhibition at the Exhibitions Room, Old Campus. Attendees included the University President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, Prof. Maher Abu Eid, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Sa’ed Al-Koni, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Sami Kilani, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Dr. Sam Alfoqahaa, Director of the Public Relations Department, in addition to a number of deans of faculties, faculty staff and students.
Prof. Hamdallah stressed in the inauguration ceremony the importance of organizing such exhibitions that combine both theory and practice and pointed out the University’s commitment to supporting and developing the Faculty of Educational Sciences. He also called upon all local institutions to visit the exhibition especially school students so as to take advantage of the displayed ideas and learn more about the educational process.
He added that such educational exhibitions offer novel educational theories and help transfer experience from the University to the school.
The participants in the inauguration took a tour around the exhibition which displayed different modern educational methods that can be utilized in schools; these methods also help students in the creative thinking process which became a necessity in the world of education. The displayed methods were made by the Faculty’s students and supervised by their instructors.
Dr. Kilani stressed the necessity to hold such exhibitions and thanked the University’s administration for its continuous support of the Faculty through offering the different resources needed to develop teaching and expertise of the Faculty’s staff and students. Focus on the educational methods stems out from the core role these methods play in the educational process.
The exhibition continues till the 28th of April and is open to visitors from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
