The workshop lasted for four hours during which the speakers presented a number of examples on some of the projects they are working on. The speakers familiarized the audience with the techniques of writing different types of reports, how to pay attention to the details such language and punctuation, the different kinds of reports such as daily, weekly, quarterly and annual reports.

Among the attendees was Dr. Nabil Dmaidi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, who thanked the Save the Children Foundation for organizing such meeting and valued its efforts in transferring the experience of its staff and workers to the students. Such interaction between the students and other institutions helps the students learn more skills that they would incorporate in their future career. He also mentioned that the topics that the workshop addressed were of extreme importance to the students of the Faculty because they help them become competent engineers and qualified experts.

Mrs. Al-Jawi expressed the Foundation's desire to extend the prospects of cooperation with the University in order to provide students with more experience and skills. She also said that engineering is a very important field of study in Palestine and is being substantially supported by the University and the different organizations and institutions in the country; therefore, it is necessary to develop a plan that would guarantee the provision of a variety of services and help support this field.

The participants agreed on involving students in more courses that focus on practical engineering education which would help them link their theoretical knowledge to the applicable side of their study. This will prepare them to be involved in the work field and compete, not only on the local level, but also on the regional and international one.
