The Electronic Engineering Department Celebrates the International Day of Telecommunication
The Electronic Engineering Department organized a festival to mark International Day of Telecommunication. Professor Maher Natsheh, Vice President for Academic Affairs, spoke about the importance of telecommunications and information technology, which are needed to meet the increasing demands of the market. He also thanked the Paltel Group for its support and patronage of the event.
During a video conference, the Minister of the Telecommunication and Information Technology spoke from Gaza about the Ministry and its efforts to offer the best services with fair prices and to open competition and free the market in the field of telecommunications and information technology. He also spoke about the good relationships between the private and public sectors and academic institutions and non-governmental organizations aimed at narrowing the gap between the Palestinian community and other communities around the globe. He also referred to a project to facilitate creative initiatives.
Representing Paltel, Mr Bassam Walweel, the Director of the Public Relations Department, spoke about Paltel’s plans to offer the best services to the community. He also referred to the Social Commitment Fund and the Technology Investment Fund, which are intended to spread and empower people’s use of modern technology. The Electronic Engineering Department’s students specializing in telecommunications presented examples of some of their more attention-grabbing projects to the audience.
