The Electrical Engineering Department organized a festival on the occasion of the International Day of Telecommunication. Prof. Maher Natsheh, Vice President for Academic Affairs spoke about the importance of telecommunication and information technology that is highly needed to meet the increasing demand on the market and he thanked the Paltel Group for its support to and patronage to such event.
Via the video conference, Minister of the Telecommunication and Information Technology spoke from Gaza about the Ministry and its efforts to offer the best services with fair prices and open the competition and free the market in the field of the Telecommunication and Information technology. He also spoke about the good relationship between the private and public sectors as well as the academic institutions and non governmental organizations in order to narrow the gap between the Palestinian community and the other communities around the globe. He also mentioned the creative project that will host the creative initiatives.
The Representative of Paltel Group, Mr. Bassam Walweel, Director of the Public Relations Department spoke about the plans of Paltel in offering its best facilities in serving the community, he also mentioned the Social Commitment Fund and the Technology Investment Fund aiming to spread and empower people to use modern technology.
The Electrical Engineering Department’s students who are specializing in telecommunication presented samples of their projects that gained the attraction and attention of the audience.
