On July 25^th 2010, Dr. Adnan Sarhan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, and the coordinator of the Societal and Mental Health Master Program at An-Najah, visited the universities of Hertfordshire and Anglia Ruskin in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Sarhan said that the visit included meeting with professors at the two universities in order to address the different agreements between An-Najah and the two universities. During his visit, Dr. Sarhan discussed with the professors at Hertfordshire and Anglia Ruskin several issues related to joint cooperation and projects. He also organized a lecture in which he spoke about An-Najah and familiarized the British audience with the many developments the University has achieved and the new facilities it founded recently to serve the students and provide high quality education.

He also delivered a series of lectures on mental health and cognitive behavior therapy CBT and explained how such a technique could be taught at an academic level so as to produce experts in this field.

Furthermore, Dr. Sarhan met with the director of the international relations at Hertfordshire and discussed the prospects of joint collaboration and academic exchange between An-Najah and Hertfordshire.
