Commemorating the 59^th anniversary of the Palestinian catastrophe, the Nakba, the Cultural Right to Return Center organized a conference at An Naja Natyional University. In attendance were ministers, Parliament members, politicians, and academics, as well as eyewitnesses of the 1948 Nakba who came from different refugee camps, having originally come from all over Palestine, to ensure their right to return.
As part of the conference, a number of different workshops and presentations were held. Conference members agreed on gathering information and lobbying their efforts towards a better promotion of the right of return for Palestinian refugees, with the goal of the implementation of the United Nations resolution 194 which clearly stipulates right of return for Palestinian refugees.
