Dr. Natsheh welcomed the guest and the accompanying delegation and gave a brief introduction of the University, its academic programmes, and future plans; he also talked about the methods applied on facing the financial crises that challenge higher education in Palestine, the achievements University students have accomplished locally and globally, and the University Hospital that provides Palestinians with necessary medical services.

Dr. Natsheh praised the efforts to advance cooperation endeavors between the University and many other Australian universities, and hoped that this cooperation continues on beyond the exchange of expertise between the two sides.

Rep. Wilson thanked Dr. Natsheh for his meeting and expressed his admiration of the University’s infrastructure development and the distinctiveness of its students and academics.

He also highlighted the Australian Embassy’s efforts to maintain communication with Palestinian institutions, enhance cooperation and cultural exchange, and strengthen the relationship between Palestinians and Australians.
