The American Studies Resource Center at the University Organizes a Workshop in Leadership and Communication Skills
On March 21st, in cooperation with the United States Consulate General, the American Studies Resource Center at the University organized a workshop titled “Women and the Labyrinth of Leadership” at the Videoconference Room at the Korean-Palestinian IT Institute of Excellence, New Campus.
The workshop was administered by Yvonne Davi, an internationally recognized leadership development coach, speaker and award winning journalist. Attendees included a number of students and instructors in addition to students from Al-Azhar University in Gaza who participated in the workshop via video conference technology.
The workshop included training the students on various leadership and communication skills through forming a number of work groups that consisted of students from An-Najah and Al-Azhar. Among the skills that the students were trained to acquire included self-building, personality development, creation of skills, how to build relationships with others, as well as how to solve personal problems easily and effectively.
