On Tuesday, September 17th, the American Corner of An-Najah National University welcomed Jessica Adams from the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem to their Open Day event held in the New Campus Library.  Student volunteers enthusiastically greeted her with songs and poetry. The Open Day event introduced the university community to the programs and resources available at the American Corner.

Students competed in festive games and activities, including American history and culture quizzes.  Winners received hats, t-shirts, and US-Palestine "friendship pins" from the U.S. Consulate.

Additionally, volunteers from the Faculty of Medicine set up a "Medical Corner" to provide students with free nutritional advice and medical screenings, including blood pressure tests.

Before she left, Ms. Adams took time to answer questions about politics, education, and American culture.
