At the invitation of the Dean of Sciences at the University of VIC in Spain, Dr. Shehdeh Jodeh, from the Department of Chemistry at An-Najah, visited the University of VIC and gave a lecture on one of his research papers that deals with soil salinity assessment and seawater farming.

Dr. Jodeh screened a film about An-Najah and its scientific development winning the admiration of the audience.

He also met with the Head of VIC University Professor Victor Villuneava and they discussed the possibility of establishing a students’ exchange programme, and they also agreed on establishing joint projects as part of the EU’s HORIZON 2002 programme.
