The public health master student, Suaad Samara, participated in the 1st Arab World Conference on Public Health that was organized by Dubai Health Authority. The theme of this conference was: “Towards Excellence in Public Health: Opportunities and Challenges in the Arab World”.

In this conference Suaad presented her poster about “Self Reported Oral Health, Oral Hygiene Habits, and Dental Attendance of Pregnant Women in Tulkarem City”. She presented, as well, her colleague Khobaib Ayoub’s poster about “Postpartum Depression among Arab Women: A Call for Action”.

 Both students are supervised by Dr. Amira Shaheen from the Department of Community Medicine and Public Health at An-najah National University.
