The University's Public Administration Institute organized today a workshop  on the relationship between the University and various governmental organizations at the Korean-Palestinian IT Institute of Excellence in the New Campus.In his remarks, Dr. Abdel-Fatah Shamleh, Director of the Institute, welcomed the participants from the University and other governmental bodies and entities.  He thanked the efforts made by the University's Administration to establish the Institute as it is playing an important role in implementing modern methods for Palestinian Institutions.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Jamal Muhesin, Governor of Nablus, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the University's President, Dr. Bashar Al-Sadder, the University’s President Assistant for Planning, Development and Quality Assurance and a number of Deans at the University.In his speech, Prof. Hamdallah confirmed the need to coordinate positive relations in order to develop the Palestinian institutions. He indicated that the University uses its academics and scientific research in order to address what is prevalent and important during the current situation. He stated that the University is fully prepared to cooperate for the purpose of community stability and protection in accordance with the systems and policies of the Public Administration Institute.
Dr. Muhesin praised the role of Public Administration Institute and he assured that the Governate is prepared to provide the support needed to the University. During the workshop, Dr. Shamleh presented a paper about the relationship that exist between the University and governmental organizations and how to deal with mutual expectations in a balanced way. At the end of the workshop, participants discussed several recommendations related to developing the relationships between universities and governmental organizations  such as establishing a national committee on the level of the Palestinian universities and governmental institutions to develop the cooperation in several domains related to good goverance.
