Prof. Rami Hamdallah Visits Dubai and Meets Arabtec Construction LLC Chairman
June 15th. Prof. Rami Hamdallah, President of An-Najah National University, returns back to the University after concluding his visit to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates as part of his efforts to establish and maintain contact and cooperation between An-Najah and the different Arab institutions and companies.

During the visit, Prof. Hamdallah met with Mr. Riad Kamal, Arabtec Construction LLC Chairman and Founder. Arabtec was the company that supervised the construction and building of Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the current holder of the world’s record as the tallest skyscraper in the world.
Mr. Kamal expressed his admiration by the achievements that An-Najah University has made over the years and valued the participation of An-Najah graduate engineers in the Burj Khalifa project. He also thanked Prof. Hamdallah for his efforts to serve his country and the Arab world through securing the best educational opportunities for the Palestinians who would later on contribute to the development of their country and the whole Arab world. He said that the Burj project was successful thanks to the dedicated efforts of the engineers from An-Najah University.
Commenting on his visit, Prof. Hamdallah said he was impressed by the greatness of Burj Khlaifa which stands as one of the world’s most astonishing and successful engineering accomplishments. He also expressed his pride to have engineers from An-Najah to take part in bringing such project to life which points out the leading and prominent role that the University plays locally and regionally.
