Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the University's president, praised the ongoing and potential partnerships between German Representative Office to the Palestinian Authority and An-Najah. In his meeting with Mr. Jorg Ranau, the Representative of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Palestinian Authority, Prof. Hamdallah said, "We were honored to receive a visit from such a distinguished representative of the German government,”  ”It is part of An-Najah's endeavors as a leading Palestinian university to foster international relations with governments and international universities and agencies and countries around the world," he added.  Mr. Ranau made it clear that his country and its institutions have a strong interest in working with An-Najah National University and supporting education in Palestine.
