On September 12^th, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, President of An-Najah University, met with the volunteers participating in the Second International Volunteering Camp which is organized by the Public Relations Department at the University through the International Youth Exchange Program (Zajel). The participants included volunteers from Austria, UK, Japan, Spain, Australia and other countries.

At the beginning of the meeting Prof. Hamdallah welcomed the volunteers and expressed his happiness to have such a unique group of international volunteers participating in the University’s international volunteering camp. Moreover, he described the latest developments that the University has witnessed over the last years. He explained that education is among the most important investments for the Palestinians and that the University is deeply concerned with building the students’ competency and skills which they need to excel in the work field in the future.

The volunteers expressed their pleasure to meet with the President and said they were impressed by the level of advancement the University has achieved.
