Prof. Rami Hamdallah is elected as a Member in the Board of the Association of Arab and European Universities
The annual periodic meeting of the Association of Arab and European Universities (AEUA) was held in Amsterdam in which a new administration board for the Association was elected. In the meeting, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, President of An-Najah University, was elected as a member in the AEUA.
The AEUA aims to facilitate and encourage cooperation between universities in Arab and European countries at an institutional, departmental and faculty level. Ultimate goal is to develop human resources and promote understanding between cultures and exchanges between the civil societies involved. Among the projects that the AEUA is working on include the development of curricula, join research work, and quality management in the educational process.
The AEUA was established in 1998 the Lutfia Rabbani Foundation in the Netherlands. Joining the AEUA is open for all universities in the Arab world and Europe that are either members in the European University Association (EUA) or the Association of Arab Universities.
The AEUA’s current cycle is headed by Dr. Marwan Kamal, President of Philadelphia University in Jordan.
