Prof. Rami Hamdallah, President of An-Najah University, inaugurated the photography exhibition titled “Palestine in our Eyes” which was organized by the Palestine Photographers Team in cooperation with the Faculty of Fine Arts at An-Najah. Attendees included Dr. Hasan N’erat, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and Dr. Sam Alfoqahaa, Director of the Public Relations Department at the University.

The exhibition included photos taken by a number of photographers in Nablus and Gaza. The photos were taken in various parts of Palestine including the Old City of Nablus, the Palestinian countryside, cities, refugee camps and other places.

Various places in Gaza were also photographed including the different historical places, the Gaza seaport, the sunset, the different aspects of the Palestinians’ life and others.

Prof. Hamdallah and the guests expressed admiration by the photos that were displayed at the exhibition and mentioned that such activity helps bring to the public the beauty of this country and the importance of working on protecting it from destruction.

The participating photographers included: Arkan Al-Aghber and Ahmed Al-Baz from Nablus, as well as Shadi Al-Assar, Husam Salem, Iyad Al-Jundi, Sajed Hammad, Muhammad Al-Aagha, Burhan Amoudi and Yaqeen Ghraba.

The message behind the exhibition is that of raising the public awareness regarding the protection of the Palestinian historical and natural legacy which includes cities, villages, landmarks, natural landscape..etc.
