On Wednesday 12 February 2014 Prof. Maher Natsheh, the Acting President, met with a delegation from the Palestinian Businessmen Forum in Hebron. Prof. Natsheh and delegates discussed the ongoing cooperation between private business and An-Najah University.

Prof. Natsheh welcomed the visiting delegate and thanked them for their visit. He spoke with delegates about An-Najah, its growth and the academic programmes offered to undergraduate, graduate and prospective doctorate students. He also gave an overview of the extensive University facilities and the campuses in Nablus and Tulkarem. Prof. Natsheh went on to express his gratitude for the support of the Palestinian private sector and their engagement with the public sector at governorate level.

The delegates expressed their pleasure at visiting An-Najah, and discussed various issues with regard to the development of Palestinian industry and particularly in relation to mutual coordination with the University around academic curricula that provide the Palestinian market with and the right skills and capacities.
