On March 7^th 2010, Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad delivered a letter of congratulation to the University President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, for the impressive ranking the University recently received by the Webometrics international evaluation monitor. The study ranked An-Najah first in Palestine, tenth in the Arab world and number 1616 internationally among more than 18,000 universities around the world.

The Prime Minister expressed his admiration of this unique achievement and hoped that this would serve as a motivation for the University and other higher education institutions in Palestine to obtain higher ranks in the future and to achieve more in the different academic and scientific fields that would contribute to the welfare and prosperity of the Palestinian people.
