President Rami Hamdallah met today with a delegation from the French Parliament, including MP Charles Gautier.  The French delegation was accompanied by Mr. Jean-Paul Ghoneim, the Cultural Counselor at the French Consulate in <st1:city><st1:place>Jerusalem</st1:place></st1:city>.   President Hamdallah praised the important contributions that <st1:country-region><st1:place>France</st1:place></st1:country-region> has made to the higher education in <st1:city><st1:place>Palestine</st1:place></st1:city>.  He said that cooperation in the area of education exchanges and scholarship is one area in which interaction should be continued. Mr. Gautier said that cooperation in the area of education exchanges is necessary to strengthen the links of cooperation and freindship between <st1:city><st1:place>Palestine</st1:place></st1:city> and <st1:country-region><st1:place>France</st1:place></st1:country-region>.<o:p></o:p>
