On February 21^st 2010, President Mahmoud Abbas, Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization and President of the Palestinian National Authority, sent a letter of congratulation to the University President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, for the unique rank An-Najah has received by the webometrics which ranked it first in Palestine, tenth in the Arab world and number 1616 internationally.

The President congratulated Prof. Hamdalllah, the University and the Palestinian people for this distinguished achievement and hoped that An-Najah would continue to make more success and achievements in the future similar to this one.
