President Rami Hamdallah met with Mrs. Catherine Fraser, the Chief Justice of Alberta in Canada, and Mr. Douglas  Campell of the Canadian Federal Court, today morning at the University's Headquarters.  Prof. Hamdallah welcomed the visiting delegation on the University's campus and briefed them on An-Najah's history and academic programs as well as the on-campus facilities.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Akram Daoud, the Dean of Faculty of Law, and Mr. Samir Aqroq, the director of the University's Democracy and Human Rights Center.
During their visit to the University's campus, the visiting delegation met with the lecturers and students of the Faculty of Law.   The talks held between the visiting delegation and the Faculty of Law aimed at opening up doors for future fruitful cooperation between both sides.  On a larger level, the visit is aimed at creating means to increase the level of cooperation between the learning and legal institutions in both Palestine and Canada.
