President Hamdallah meets the Ambassador of Tunisia
This morning Prof. Rami Hamdallah, president of the University, received the visit of Mr. Ahmad Al Habasi, the Ambassador of Tunisia to the Palestinian National Authority. Prof. Hamdallah and Mr. Habasi discussed opportunities for future collaboration between the Representative Office of Tunisia in Ramallah and the University.
Mr. Habasi said that it is evident that An-Najah is striving to promote academic excellence and distinction in Palestine. "The visit has provided many opportunities to discuss areas of co-operation and mutual benefit as An-Najah pays great attention to broadening cooperation with Tunisian academic institutions," Prof. Hamdallah said.
As part of the visit the Tunisian Ambassador visited HRH Prince Turki Bin Abdel Aziz Theatre and the Korean-Palestinian Information Technology Institute for Excellence located in the University's New Campus. Prof. Hamdallah presented token gifts to Mr. Habasi and the Tunisian Ambassador thanked President Hamdallah for his cordial reception.
