Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, represented by Eng. Muhammad Zahlan and Eng. Munif Qaffaf, participated in training course for trainers of CISCO in the arena of Computer Networks and Internet.  The training was held at the Lebanese American University (LAU) in Beirut.  This training program comes as part of the activities to inaugurate the CISCO Regional Academy at Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology.  The project is funded by USAID and Save the Children Foundation.  Trainings will be conducted after the official opening of the academy which is expected to be at the end of this month.  The establishment of academy will help in raising the competence in computer arena, and specifically in computer networks.  This will have a great impact on the vocational and technical education in Palestine which will eventually increase the career opportunities for the educational institutions and their graduates in majoring in technical and vocational education.<o:p></o:p>
