Norwegian Academic delegation visits An-Najah
On Thursday 20 February Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah National University received a delegation of Norwegian academics accompanied by Father Josef Sa’adeh, a member of the University’s Board of Trustees. The delegation discussed potential cooperation between An-Najah and Norwegian universities.
Professor Natsheh welcomed the guest delegation and Father Sa’adeh and expressed his hope for further cooperation with Norwegian universities and An-Najah, noting the strong and positive partnership already in place between An-Najah and Stavanger University. He also briefed them on An-Najah’s establishment and development, its academic (undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate) programmes and its facilities at the Nablus and Tulkarem campuses.
The parties discussed the possibility of cooperation within research projects and the exchange of students and professors.
The Norwegian delegates in turn thanked Professor Natsheh for receiving them and admired the level of development the university has achieved. They also welcomed future academic cooperation in different fields.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Khaled Mufleh, Acting Director of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah.
