University President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, received on Wednesday, February 17^th 2010, Nablus Governor, Jebrin Al Bakri. The delegation came to deliver its congratulations to the University, represented by its president, as it has been ranked first locally and tenth in the Arab world according to the classification of universities made by the Spanish webometrics website.

The delegation also included Mrs. Anan Al-Attireh, Nablus Deputy Governor, general managers, heads of administrative departments, and others. Prof. Hamdallah expressed his pleasure to meet the guests and added that whatever achievement An Najah makes is an achievement of Palestine as whole.

He also hoped that the Teaching Hospital would be operated soon and pointed out that the University has prepared the specialized staff that will work in the hospital. Furthermore, he thanked the Palestinian Authority for its support of this project. In turn, Governor Al-Bakri congratulated the University and praised the efforts that the University's staff has made in order to make such achievement.
