Musical Concert for the Hungarian Band Live Act Folk at An-Najah University
On May 12th, the Hungarian band “Live Act Folk” presented a musical concert at the Prince Turki Bin Abdul Aziz Theater at An-Najah University’s New Campus. Attendees included Mr. Csaba Czibere, Head of Mission to the Representative Office of the Republic of Hungary to the Palestinian National Authority, as well as Dr. Sam Alfoqahaa, Director of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah.
At the beginning of the evening, Dr. Alfoqahaa welcomed Mr. Czibere and the Band and thanked them for their visit to An-Najah to present their music in front of its students. He added that this concert represented actual exchange of culture and art between Hungary and Palestine; this kind of exchange helps reinforce cross-cultural communication and understanding.
By having foreign bands perform in Palestine really helps locals understand and become familiar with the culture and art of other countries.
Many students and instructors attended the concert in addition to a representative of the European Union and the Nablus Governorate. For two hours the Band performed several musical pieces that caught the attention of the audience.
At the end of the evening, Dr. Alfoqahaa presented a souvenir to the visiting band.
