On Tuesday, October 1^st, 2013, Ms. Angie Chang, an expert in entrepreneurship, held a workshop with the American Corner in cooperation with the U.S. Consulate General in Jerusalem.  The workshop focused on creating technology companies and business systems.

Ms. Chang presented her own experience in e-business. She worked in online sales and failed many times, yet she never gave up on marketing via electronic media. Ms. Chang indicated that society often does not welcome new ideas because human nature fears change, but the world is now beginning to accept it.

Ms. Chang asked the students to talk about their hopes and ambitions. She noted that success is not gained without pain and that they should work harder on pursuing their dreams and aspirations. She also said that those who aspire to become pioneers should understand that they will face fatigue, failures, and isolation from family and friends, but with patience, faith, and determination they will be rewarded in the future.

Finally, Ms. Chang discussed social media, emphasizing that the future depends on social media. The battle is taking place in the virtual world. The future is in new technology and scientific research.
