MA Degrees Granted at An-Najah
The Deanship of Graduate Studies at An-Najah National University granted four MA Degrees for researchers in the arenas of Architecture Engineering, English language Teaching Methodology, Regional and Urban Planning and Religious Fundamentalism.
The Deanship granted the researcher Mr. Hasan Mahmood Awawdeh an MA Degree in Architectural Engineering on his thesis “Islamic Moderation Philosophy and Abstraction in the Islamic Architecture”. The discussion committee consisted of Dr. Haytham Ratroot as a head and a supervisor, Dr. Jamal Amro, as an external examiner, ( Bier Zeit University), and Dr. Khaled Adwan as an internal examiner and Dr. Khaled Qamhiyyeh as an internal examiner.
The Faculty also granted the researcher Ms. Laila Muhammad Saleem an MA Degree in English Language Teaching Methodology on her Thesis “The Effect of Autonomous Teaching Strategy on the accomplishment of Student according to the point view of English Language Teachers in Tulkarem and Qalqelia”. The thesis was discussed in relation with creative writing and taking control of education by themselves. Dr. Ahmad Awad was the head of the supervision committee and the main supervisor. Dr. Sameer Rammal as an external examiner, Dr. Fayez Aqel and Dr. Fawaz Aqel both as internal examiners.
Another MA Degree was granted to the researcher Mr. Iyad Saleh in Regional and Urban Planning for his Thesis “Trends of Architectural Development in Tubas: A Study on the Morphology of the City.” Dr. Ali Abdul Hamid supervised the committee and headed it, in addition to Dr. Fayez Frihat as an external examiner (Bier Zeit University) and Dr. Rabi’e Owies as a second supervisor.
The final MA Degree was granted to the researcher Mr. Raed Assi for his Thesis “Strength in Holy Quran”. The Thesis clarified the meaning of strength, its indications in the Holy Quran explaining the context and the words with close meanings. The thesis discussion committee was headed and supervised by Dr. Odeh Abdullaho with Dr. Helmi AbdelHadi as an external examiner (Arab American University) and Dr. Khaled Odwan as an internal examiner from An-Najah National University.
