London Choir Presents a Distinctive Opera Performance at An-Najah
An-Najah National University, in cooperation with AlKamandjati Association, and on the occasion of Music Day Festival, organized the performance of Puccini's La Boheme, and the London Choir. The show took place at HRH Turki Bin Abdul-Aziz Theater at the University's New Campus. The show was organized with the participation of Palestinian children from AlKamandjati Association and under the patronage of Abdul-Mushin Qattan Foundation and PADICO.

AlKamandjati Association hosted "Choir of London," which is considered one of the most professional Choirs in England. Puccini's La Boheme band is making a tour around Palestine. The Band consists of about 100 young musicians and artists of high skill with a great fame in the United Kingdom.
The great production included some modified Arabic scripts for the Palestinian writer Raja Shehadeh, the winner of Oe'il Award of Public Literature 2008, and the scripts are performed by the Palestinian artist Saleh Bakri.
At the beginning of the performance, Dr. Hasan N'erat, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, welcomed the Choir, while noting the importance of such performances in enhancing the cultural activity that is greatly supported and patronized by the University's administration. The Opera show continued for more than two hours and a half with the presence of more than 250 persons of those who are interested in opera art performance.
