Mr. Naruse Takeshi, a representative of the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation, JICA, visited the University accompanied with Dr. Abdul Naser Maki, the Coordinator of JICA. They met with Dr. Maher Natsheh, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Sulaiman Khalil, the coordinator of the Scientific Centers and Dr. Nabil Alawi, Director of the Public Relations Department. A discussion on the importance of cooperation took place between both sides.
Another meeting was held between Mr. Takeshi and the Director of Earth Sciences and Seismic Engineering Center, Dr. Jalal Dabeek, who briefed his guests on the Center's projects.
Mr. Takeshi also presented a lecture on the JICA development projects in the Jordan Valley, water, transportation, woman and children development projects. Mr. Takeshi, expressed his pleasure to be visiting the University and spoke about the cooperation between the university and JICA. He also expressed the importance of cooperation between various fields.
