Inaugurated on the 1^st of February 2010 a series of training courses for the directors of police departments in Nablus which covered several topics including: administrative operations, planning and human resources management. The event was organized in light of the joint cooperation between An Najah University and the Political Guidance Committee in Nablus.

Dr. Abdel Fattah Al-Shamleh, as representative of the University, thanked the participants for their participation in the courses and pointed out to the unique role that the police department carries out in order to achieve the welfare of the society. He also stressed the importance of maintaining cooperation between the different academic and security institutions so as to serve the local community in the best way possible.

Mr. Mohammad Naser Abu Rabi', Director of the political and national guidance in Nablus, Hazem Atallah, General Director of the Palestinian Police Department, and Adnan Al-Dmairi, Political Commissioner General to the University thanked An Najah for the organization of the courses. They also pointed out to the University's efforts in supporting cooperation between the academic and security bodies in Nablus which was clear through the courses that it organized.
