Under the supervision of Dr. Sufyan Samara, An-Najah’s Microsoft Club held an introductory meeting to the Imagine Club 2014, on Sunday, 16 February.

Computer Engineering student and Microsoft Student Partner Mohammad Diab started the meeting by introducing the Imagine Cup. Followed by Ms. Rima Abu Yaseen, a Microsoft staff member, who talked about the competition in detail and the mechanism of project evaluation. She also made a presentation on the categories of the competition and the prizes.

In the same context, Computer Engineering student and Microsoft Student partner, Abdul Athim Bukhary, talked about his team (Fresco) and their participation in the competition last year which they won first place in the category: Creativity. And he went on to talk about how they represented Palestine in the finals in Russia.

The Imagine Cup is an annual international competition held by Microsoft Inc.. It has several categories: Creativity (An-Najah won first place in the years 2012 and 2013), Games and the Good Citizen.
