January 13^th. The Public Safety Committee at the University honored the participants in the First Aid and Firefighting training courses which were organized earlier between the 2^nd and 13^th of January for the workers at the University’s faculties, scientific centers and the library.

Mr. Isam Saleem from the Firefighting Department in Nablus supervised the courses which included training the participants on different theoretical and practical skills in the abovementioned fields. Dr. Jalal Dabbeek, Director of the Earth Sciences and Seismic Engineering Center and Member at the Public Safety Committee, also gave a lecture on risk analysis.

The participants were granted certificates of appreciation for their participation in the courses. The two courses were supervised by Dr. Amer Al-Hamouz, Rapporteur of the Public Safety Committee, Mr. Omair Al-Nabulsi, the Public Safety Committee Secretary, as well as Mr. Shukri Al-Ghalayini, Public Safety Officer.
