On Thursday, December 10th, 2015 An-Najah’s Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology of concluded the 60-hour Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Route and the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security training workshops of the USAID “Technology and its Positive Impact” Project at the Cisco Academy at Hijjawi.

The CCNP workshops focused on managing network protocols and the internet operational system, while the CCNA Security workshop touched upon contemporary risk management in computer networks, firewalls installation and learning about the international data encryption algorithm and protocols as well as securely connecting networks with protocols.

The participating students were awarded an internationally recognized certificate in the field of computer and internet networks accomplished at the Cisco Enterprise Networks provided that they pass the international Cisco networks exams.

Notes:

-          The project was executed by the Mercy Corps organization, an international development organization that helps people around the world survive and thrive after conflict, crisis and natural disaster.
