Habeeb El-Deek Participates in a Music Course in Egypt

Instructor Habeeb El-Deek, Music Department in the Fine Arts Faculty, arrived back after participating in a course on the techniques of Lute playing in the Arab Lute House Conservatory in Egypt.
The course was given by the famous Iraqi Musician Naseer Shamma, Head of the Conservatory, and dealt with the new design of the Lute - an instrument used by solo musicians, that requires lots of training and a special technique to play.
Instructor El-Deek said that he will soon begin teaching all that he has learned to the students of the Fine Arts Faculty and that he had brought with him certain special curricula for the well known lute players including Salem Abed Al-Karim, Mutaz Al-Biati and Muhyi El-Deen Haidar.
