On Wednesday, 25th of November 2009, a criminal course was concluded at the Medico-Legal Institute at An Najah National University which continued over two weeks. The course titled "Methods of Collecting Tangible and Intangible Evidences in at Crime Scene" was organized in cooperation between An Najah University and the European Police. A number of investigation officers and district attorney officials as well as the international detective General Frederick Ashwendt, and the German Police Director Michael Shribinij and experts from the Faculty of Medicine at An Najah National University were among the participants. The celebration was held at the Institute of Justice in which the University President Prof. Rami Hamdallah, Attorney General Ahmed Al-Mghanni, and Deputy Director General of the Palestinian Police Jihad Al-Msaimi and others spoke about the advantages of such a course.
Prof. Rami Hamdallah said that such courses provide police officers with the knowledge and expertise needed by police officers and that the University supports the Medico-Legal Institute. Attorney General Ahmed Al-Mghanni thanked both An Najah National University and the European Police for holding this course. Other participants also thanked the University and the European Police for their support of the course and called for more cooperation  between the Palestinian Police and the Ministry of Justice.
The Assistant Attorney General delivered the graduates' speech in which he thanked all those who participated in holding the course and hoped for more attention to be paid to such issues in the future. At the end of the graduation ceremony certificates were distributed among the participants.
