Farewell Ceremony for the University Cooperation Attaché at the French General Consulate
An-Najah held a farewell ceremony to Mr. Sebastian Fagart, the University Cooperation Attaché at the French General Consulate in Jerusalem. Mr. Fagart concluded his service in the Palestinian Territories. The ceremony was held at the Office of the University's President in the Old Campus. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the University's President, in addition to Vice Presidents and Assistants, a number of the Faculties' Deans and heads of departments. Mr. Fagart was accompanied by a delegation from the French General Consulate and the staff of the French Cultural Center in Nablus.
Prof. Hamdallah, in his remarks, appreciated the role of Mr. Fagart in strengthening the relations between An-Najah National University and the French General Consulate especially in the arena of scholarships at French Universities.
Mr. Fagart thanked Prof. Hamdallah and he also noted the strong and specail relations between the the Consulate and An-Najah. He pointed out that he feels glad to accomplish many scholarships for the University. He said that the strong relations between the two sides is the result of the continuous support of Prof. Hamdallah. He added that further university cooperation will continue with An-Najah in several areas.
