Faculty of Engineering held yesterday the final preparatory meeting for the Engineering Creativities Fair which will be organized by the Faculty under the patronage of Paltel Group.  The event will be held at the Faculty on the 8^th of June at the New University Campus.
Dr. Nabil Dmaidi, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, said that the fair is an annual tradition, but it is distinguished this year with the wide participation from many engineering institutions, firms and factories in Palestine.  He invited all related authorities to visit the fair to be introduced to University’s departments and equipments and thus making use of it in developing their services and products.

Dr. Abdel-Raheem Abu Safa, Chiar of Chemical Engineering Department, said that the participation is free to encourage as many as national engineering industries and services to exhibit their products.  He added that the fair will also include many different activities such as the students' projects, and displays of the firms, institutions and others.  It will also include scientific lectures, specialized seminars and awarding of the top students of the faculty by the Engineers Union.

During the fair, visitors will meet new engineers to be introduced to their skills and abilities.  Mr. Ahmad Adeili of Engineering Union in Palestine said that the Union is working hard on expanding the horizons of joint work and cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering by providing operational and training programs for new engineers.

Eng. Muhammad Dwikat, Director of Najahpal Consultations and Technical Studies, said that the fair will include projects of the Students of the faculty of Fine Arts, specializing in Décor and Graphic Design.  It is worth mentioning that the Faculty has finished recently the discussion of 400 graduation projects for its students in different specializations in addition to accepting students in Mechatronics Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering.
