Under the patronage of Paltel Group, Faculty of Engineering at An-Najah National University, opened the Engineering Creativities Fair with the presence of Prof. Rami Hamdallah, University President, Dr. Nabil Dmaidi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mr. Yousef Qarm, Director of Technical Department at Paltel Group, Mr. Basil Kan'an, Chairman of Nablus Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Ahmad Adeili. Chair of the Palestinian Engineers Union, deputies of a number of companies and institutions in addition to academics and students of the Faculty.

Eng. Muhammad Dwikat of Faculty of Engineering welcomed the guests and thanked Paltel Group for their continuous support to develop students' qualifications and skills.

Dr. Dmaidi, in his remarks, said that the University is playing a pioneer role in the development of the Palestinian community, and talked about the different Departments of Faculty of Engineering that contribute in the service of the local community through education and training.

He also emphasized the Faculty's endeavor to establish distinctive specializations such as telecommunications. He thanked the Union of Engineers for their support through work experiences introduced to the Faculty and its students for the sake of community service.

He thanked the University’s administration represented by its President Prof. Rami Hamdallah, for providing all support on the logistic and technical levels.  Dr. Dmaidi thanked Paltel Group as well for their support.

Mr. Qarm expressed the Group’s delight for its patronage of such special events (a fair of creativity and science). He said that the Group will work with An-Najah to support and assist the local community through its awarding system for distinguished students to develop the community and motivate them for competition.

Mr. Adeili said that students' projects reflect the great efforts of the academics at the Faculty, and stated that the Union is ready for true partnership with all institutions to develop community. He thanked the University's administration and the Dean of the Faculty, for their interaction with the union's program to train and qualify new graduates.
