“Nablus, we love you” was the title of an exhibition of products made in Palestine; it was co-ordinated by the Darna Centre but involved various local organisations. The event was supported also by leading members of the Palestinian community.
A festival was organised in the face of the closure imposed on Nablus by the occupation. It was intended to display the links between the local culture and the local economy. Business and art came together in one place, with representatives of industry and agriculture sharing space with artisans and experts in local culture; a place where professionals and the public could exchange ideas.
The event featured more than 60 exhibitors from the private sector; representatives of 58 Palestinian associations; 35 groups of performers, and the well-known Palestinian singer Rim Al-Banna.
