In what is both a prestigious and important achievement for Palestinian Universities in general, An Najah National University has been granted the opportunity under the European Union Lifelong Learning Programme’s Jean Monnet Action, to teach ‘European Union Integration’ within the Department of Politics over an initial three year period.<o:p></o:p>

The Jean Monnet Action is designed to promote teaching, research and reflection on European integration throughout higher education institutions worldwide.<o:p></o:p>

This award epitomises the long term objectives of the university in constantly improving educational standards whilst simultaneously stimulating EU integration and EU – Palestinian relations. It is through the Office of the President Assistant for Strategic and International Affairs, the support of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the module design of Dr. Nayef Abu Khalef that this particular goal has been realised.<o:p></o:p>
